Discover the hidden power of your core in this hands-on workshop with Andrew Tay, StrongFirst Elite Instructor and Neuro-Kinetic Therapy expert.
Many people think the core is just about six pack abs, but the truth is your internal core is the foundation for every movement, from everyday activities to advanced bodyweight exercises. In this workshop, you’ll learn to:
Generate authentic intra abdominal pressure (IAP) for stability and safety
Layer bracing and breathing techniques on top of your natural core activation
Improve strength, mobility, and movement awareness in exercises like the plank, supine toe taps, push-ups, and split squats
Recognize and correct tension in the shoulders, neck, and lower back while engaging the core
Discovery & Introduction: Explore your internal core through guided breathing, awareness, and gentle exercises. Think of it as learning to “taste” the core. You’ll feel results whether you’re aware of them or not.
Application & Layering: Learn cues and techniques to express strength safely in real exercises, taking home practical tools you can immediately use in your training.
After the workshop:
Head on over to Esquires Coffee Egham for a well deserved break. Your ticket includes a free drink of your choice.
